Markus Schedl appointed to serve on the Scientific Board of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF)
It is an honor to announce that Markus Schedl has been appointed to serve on the Scientific Board of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF), Austria’s main funding agency for basic research, as a Scientific Consultant for Computer Science, together with Wolfgang Faber (University of Klagenfurt).
The Scientific Board is made up of renowned scholars from a variety of universities and research institutions in Austria. The Board’s job is to select internationally recognized reviewers with specialized knowledge and to contribute to the decision-making process based on the reviews received, ensuring the scientific excellence and high level of innovation of all FWF-funded projects.
